At KCC Gourtmet Catering, we believe in supporting our community.  It is about strengthening vital connections with people and their neighbourhoods. We believe making a valuable contribution to the community adds up to more than dollars and cents. Our Community Support and funding programs allows us to partner on projects which add lasting value for our communities.

We will consider financial support and in-kind requests that support our core business interests and promote quality of life in Clarington through arts and culture, health, and major sporting events.

Here is a list of some of the Organizations that are near our heart:

Rotary riemblem_c_small[1]Club of Bowmanville

Rotary International is the world’s first service club organization with more than 1.2 million members in 33,000 clubs worldwide.  Rotary club members (which Kevin is a Past President)  are volunteers who work locally, nationally, and internationally to combat hunger, improve health and sanitation, provide education and job training, promote peace, and eradicate polio under the motto “Service Above Self”.  We are proud to be a part of this dynamic organization.

BethesdaBethesda House

Bethesda House is  a region-wide organization epitomizing the caring nature of the community which surrounds and protects those in need of shelter and support.  Bethesda House has strived to continue to meet the needs of the increasing number of women, youth and children dealing with domestic abuse and relationship violence in Durham Region. They are one of the few organizations that wish they were out of business and until that dream becomes a reality, KCC Gourmet and Catering will continue to support them.

Terry foxTerry Fox Foundation

The Terry Fox Foundation is responsible for supporting close to $20 million in discovery based research each year in Canada – all monies raised outside Canada must be distributed to (a) an institute approved by the Foundation and its advisors or (b) remitted to Canada. The Terry Fox Research Institute (TFRI) is a recipient of TFF funding for translational research. TFRI is an exciting new initiative whose goal is to translate rapidly today’s best science into better cancer treatment and diagnosis for all Canadians.  Our families, like yours,  have battled cancer and because of that we support.
